Rafter H Designs, owned and operated by Jake Herman, is a trusted residential design business serving the Kamloops/Kelowna area of BC, and the Calgary area of Alberta. I have 6 years of experience in the construction industry and years of schooling to offer clients trusting me with the design of their dream home.

The Process

Using 3D software to model home designs, I offer clients an integrated approach to designing. I collaborate with the client through in person meetings, video chats, phone calls, and emails to produce a quality set of drawings tailored to your needs. Our in person meetings can be in my home office, located 10 minutes west of Kamloops in Cherry Creek, at my Calgary office, or in the comfort of your own home. I will quote the project following our initial consultation, and then work hand in hand with you until you’re satisfied, and ready to submit for permits.

Services

I offer architectural services for new homes and renovations. After final design is agreed upon, I draft the construction drawings to submit for permitting to your local authority having jurisdiction. My designs are made to fit the lot and location desired to build on, and meet all code requirements and by-laws applicable.
